Supporting peaceful beginnings for families.

Sometimes there are good medical reasons why baby needs to have a planned 'birth day'. Having a scheduled c-section doesn't mean that you don't need support during your pregnancy or birth! There is a lot of navigate when you agree to a c-section birth; as a doula I can help support you to achieve the best possible pregnancy, birth and preparation for postpartum. This package includes unlimited support throughout pregnancy, 2 prenatal meetings, the birth, and 1 postpartum visit.  We will prepare a birth plan to ensure that, although in the operating room, the birth environment is still sacred and catered to protecting that intial bond between mom and baby. Some hospitals will allow doulas to support partners and birthers in the operating room. Regardless,  I will be with you in recovery as you embark on caring for and feeding your baby. Our preparation will also include setting you up for success postpartum; ensuring that your home and lifestyle is set up in a way that you can easily heal and take care of baby.  

For those who want a confidant for emotional and educational support as they navigate their entire pregnancy and prepare for birth. This package includes 3-4 prenatal meetings (as well as unlimited text and phone support) where we will go over comfort measures for labour, prepare your birth plan and make sure you are feeling confident and empowered heading into your birth! It also includes unlimited text/phone/email support through your entire pregnancy. This package does not include birth support.

An offering for those who aren't sure they want a doula at their birth*, but would like evidence based informational support in creating their birth plan. Together we will meet two times to dicuss your vision for birth, get more in depth about topics you want information about, and refine a birth plan you can share with your prenatal care provider and birthing team.  Information is power when it comes to feeling confident to navigate the birthing environment, and this package will help cover the info that you need!

Rental of the wonderful La Bassine birth pool from 37 wks until baby is born! Comes with everything you need including brand new liner, drinking water quality hose, debris net, drop sheet, and thermometer. Those are all yours to keep! Also comes with pump (to inflate) and sump pump to drain water out, as well as step by step instructions on how to use. 

Free drop off and pick up within South Surrey/White Rock, otherwise pick up location is in South Surrey.
